Understanding cougar ecology
in British Columbia's southern interior

Southern British Columbia
Cougar Project

Where do we work?

The Southern BC Cougar project extends through 3 study areas including
the West Okanagan, Boundary, and Kootenay regions of British Columbia, Canada.

Using GPS collar technology, we have investigated over 1400 potential cougar kill sites and identified 930 prey remains to evaluate seasonal cougar diet. Learn more on our Research page.
